Consitpation
My 11yr old Keeshond suffers terribly with constipation
He has gone to and fro from the vet. The vet suggested getting him neutered as his prostrate glands were causing the problem, this seemed to have helped for the past 2yrs but now his constipation has come back so we took him back to the vet and all the vet could suggest was just to give him oil in his food each time we feed him. We have Duke's full sister and she doesn't suffer with constipation. I hate seeing Duke in pain What could be causing the problem?? No matter what food we feed he still suffers

Try pumpkin. In BARF and RAW groups, pumpkin is often said to remedy both constipation or diarrhea. I've never had to use it with my dogs who are all BARF fed though. Good luck

Agreed with the pumpkin
![]() Another thing that our dogs eat and it help with constipation is soaked beet pulp that we feed our horses ![]() It is like pure fibre ![]() But if you do not have horses then Pumpkin is the best. |
