Andis is great and accepts Oster blades. I use both, with a smaller Oster to trim my dog's feet. The Andis is great for general grooming.

I prefer the Andis because they run smoother, easier to hold for long periods, don't heat up as quick as Oster. Oster is a good brand, they outlast most and I use them daily, but Andis wins. I just purchased the Moser rechargeable, can't wait to try it, who knows I might have a different #1 choice soon!

I have Wahl's & Osters, however I prefer the Wahls. The Osters I find tend to heat up very quickly & then the don't cut properly.

In saying that though I have found the Wahls do tend to heat the blades quicker, so it pays to have the Kool Lube on hand

I got Andis clippers but I'm not sure how good they are as I'm too scared to try them out on Lilly lol. My groomer said she likes Andis best though.
