What the heck.. Louise's Update (in addition the others)

The dermatologist looked at her, and had no suggestions or thoughts other than thyroid. Of course, we've already tried that. He asked a couple of questions about hair loss and such.. none of which matched the disorders he had thoughts about.

Looked at her urine.. nothing but fat droplets, and normal stuff! No UTI. So i'm keeping my eye out for more dribbling, and if she is.. then put her on a medication (phenylpropranalomine) to help her urinary sphincter.

End conclusion.. nobody knows?

Ending ideas: She is getting groomed, and then having 3 session of Reiki. I spoke with the technician who does this, and she felt Louise and said she is a good candidate for it. We are going to do 3 days in a row, 20 minute sessions each. She said it helps with stress, trauma, and anxiety.. so perhaps her irritablity is related to one of those?

Worth a try! I'll let you all know about this Reiki and if it works.. could be a great option for others (if you have it in your area?).

I've never heard of it either. Tell us about it. From how you described it, I think I could use some reiki myself!

Reiki is sort of a form of holistic massage, some say it works, others say it doesn't, I'm skepticle about it myself, but I have known people who say that they have had much success with it! The following is an excpert from www.holistic-online.com/Reiki.htm basically it says Reiki changes energy fields and it's a form of massage where there is no contact...

***
Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to heal and harmonize. Unlike other healing therapies based on the premise of a human energy field, Reiki seeks to restore order to the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced.
Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep relaxation, destroys energy blockages, detoxifies the system, provides new vitality in the form of healing universal life energy, and increases the vibrational frequency of the body.
The laying of hands is used in Reiki therapy also as in spiritual healing. There is a difference though. In spiritual healing, a person with a strong energy field places his or her hands above a particular part of the recipient's body in order to release energy into it. So, here the healer is the one who is sending out the energy. In Reiki, however, the healer places the hands above the recipient; however, it is the recipient that draws the energy as needed. Thus, in this case, the individual being healed takes an active part in the healing process as opposed to having a passive part in spiritual healing. The individual takes responsibility for his or her healing. The recipient identifies the needs and cater to them by drawing energy as needed.
Although there are a few positions in which the practitioner is in contact with the patient (such as cradling the head), most Reiki treatments do not involve actual touching. The practitioner holds his or her hands a few inches or farther away from the patient's body and manipulates the energy field from there."

That exactly what it is. They do this in human medicine.. I'm sure much more common than with animals.

I have had a friend who has done it, and she said it does really work.

Also.. yes, we have tested for thyroid.. we did the T4/T3/TSH test. She's not hypothyroid. I did look at her results again.. and she is smack dab in the middle of the suggested ranges.
