I WAS ALMOST SCAMMED THANK GOD I RESEARCHED IT BEFORE ANY OF IT HAPPENED. APPARENTLY THEY WILL SEND YOU THE MONEY THEN SAY THAT THE SHIPPER FELL THREW AND TO GIVE THE CASH BACK AND BY THE TIME YOU SEND THEM THE "CASH" BACK THE MONEY ORDER OR CHECK THAT THEY GAVE YOU BOUNCES AND YOU ARE STUCK WITH THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND THEY HAVE THE CASH. THANK GOD I DIDN'T GIVE THEM MY REAL ADDRESS.I REALLY THOUGHT MY PRECIOUS DOG WAS GOING TO A GOOD HOME.BELOW IS THE EMAIL THAT THEY SENT ME AND HOPEFULLY I HAVE AVOIDED ANYONE ELSE BEING SCAMMED. THEY GO BY THE NAME DAMMIE WILSON OR DAMMIE AND WILSON. BUT IF YOU GOOGLE PET ADOPTION SCHEMES IT COMES UP DANNIELE

Hello Friend.
I'm very much interested in adopting your pet to my humble home as a companion and as an indoor pet. I'm us citizen. I live at delray beach FL, but presently in ontario canada to accept a job offer with the american christain missionary as a clerk. I'm happily married with a kid and 2 house maids. I want to have your pet as part of my family. I lost my most adorable pet some couple of days ago due to old age, the tragedy was so painful for me to bear as a pet lover,so i need yours in replace to minimise the lost. I assure you a 100% loving forever home for your pet and i want you to consider the pet sold to a petlover. Pls, briefly tell me these: adoption fees, mode of feeding, present health condition, breed, and pic if available. I have a viable and reliable pet transporter that will come to visit you for the pick-up right from your home. "means you don't need to drive the pet to any where". I wait to hear back from you so that i can inform my trustee in the state to issue out the payment in time.As for the payment, you have to forward your name, address and your phone number for payment. A certified "MO" will be issue on your behalf which'll cover the adoption fees + $50 as reward offer for the up bringing of the pet + the shipping fees. I wait to hear back from you at you earliest convinient time.
We cares for your pet.
Ms Dammie Wilson.
***pet poem***
Animals are great to see
Fun to have as pets
Some I know I'd rather have
Than people that I've met
They never ask you questions
They rarely disagree
But always seem to know just when
To be there when need beSome! will make a bit of noise
To ask! if we're ok
It's just thei! r way of lett! ing us know
That things will work some way
It's like they're trying to say to us
They kn! ow just how we feel
And ! only try to help us through
Our bothersome ordeal
Dogs will come wag their tail
Lift you up a paw
Looking at you with helpf! ul eyes
Understanding what they saw
Cats will sit and study you
Before they come around
Trying to figure out when's best
To lift you when you're down
Birds are quiet when you're mad
Noisy when you're not
They'll only make a bit of noise
When the blues is all you've got
Animals know more than we think
They all have their moods too
Have you ever noticed when
They spend more time near you
Sometimes we take them all for granted
As well as some people too
Do you ever ask yourself
If you'd be there for you
***pet poem***
Pets become a part of our hearts-
we adopt them as fa! mil! y right from the start.
We cast all our l! ove on their kind, gentle souls, but, like you and I they too, grow old.
When we grow tired and weary, God gave! us a choice-
we have docto! r's and care, but our pets have no voice.
We may understand why we're changing this way,
but a creature's language is shown in his actions e! ach day.
What they do with their bodies, how they act towards a friend-
is their way of saying their time's at an end.
And, as wonderful a gift as our "Free Will" can be,
It pains us to choose our loved pet's destiny.
When we see them in pain, our hearts say one thing-
when we see them lash out, we deny what truth rings.
For we don't want to lose the precious one that we've loved-
but like humans on earth they'll live on up above.
Oh. I know how you weep at making this choice-
as you speak for your pet as he has no voice.
You are kind, you are loving, and I know you have tried-
to ration and reason! with t! he truth that's inside.
No one said life ! was easy, of this we can say-
and I k! now you're! heart's breaking on this tragic day.
But, trust in your heart what your instincts have ! said-
That God is guiding you amongst all your dread.
I weep for you now as I know your heart aches-
but my love is with you as your decision! you make.
God gave you the gift of some wonderful years-
with a pet who was healthy and healed many tears.
But now it's his time, for he's not the same pet-
and I say this with sadness, with tears and regret.
"For every thing there's a season," remember, and then,
"A place for every purpose, under Heaven."

Well..even if one person doesn't know then I think that I have done my job of getting it out. It may be an old scam but I have never heard of it before. They had my email address and emailed me directly. I had my pet on petfinder.com that is were they got my email address and we were righting each other back and forth. I almost did it. Thank God that I thought something was fishy and researched it. I really thought that they wanted my dog.

wow, that sux. I would have thought something was odd when they said they wanted your dog but didn't know the breed, age or hadn't even seen a picture. glad to hear that you avoided it, and i agree it is a good thing you posted here old or not. just because one of us has heard of it I am sure there are plenty who haven't. thanks
