Australian Herb Combo (arthritis)

I was reading this article in Jan. Dog Fancy. Since I have a few seniors. And with the problems with Sahra Jane, I thought it may be helpful.
It is a pruduct called Dog-Gone Pain... DGP contains anti-inflammatory herbs such as feverfew, celeryseed, tumeric and boswellia (derived from a tree native to India) It comes in chewable tablets and seems to be good when Glucosamine. The lady in the article says she started using DGP on her 12 yr old Beagle/lab mix. The dog could only walk on 3 legs. Arthritis was that bad. Within a week of DGP she could see a difference.
Of course talk to your vet first. It says it could interfer with antibiotics, anticolagulants and NSAIDS. (Nonsteroidal anti-flammatory drugs) I am deffinetly gonna talk to my Doc, about it for Sahra Jane. For after she is off the meds she is on now.

Metacam or Meloxicam is a NSAID (non-steroidal anti inflammatory) approved for cats and dogs. Usually used in small dogs or cats.

Yeah, it smells like this stuff that I had to put in my eyes when I had pink eye. It's really gross. But works miracles in drops.
