dry poo

My dog's stools have been really, really dry recently. Normally they're that dark brown colour, but now it's more like a very light yellow-brown.
Is this anything I should worry about?

Well, the first question, have they been eating anything different?

Nope. Regular dry food every meal, and some biscuits. Maybe a few cooked meat here and there.

I would not worry about it could be a case that your dog is not drinking enough water.

With my dog on a raw diet they have harder poops most of the time too, with the raw diet it means they are using more of the goodness of the food in thier systems. Also it is not a bad thing because when the poop is harder like that then it naturally cleans the A-nal glands of the dog so you never have to. That is such a nasty job.

No I would not worry about it.

Thanks Dobified. I think you're right on about the water thing. It's been so cold lately that all the water we put out for them has frozen over.
