Question What supplements do you give?

I am just curious on what you give, what they are for, how often you give them and what do you think of the results if any?

At the moment I give wheatgerm oil capsules and they seem great

Sammy gets one daily capsule of an Omega-3 fatty acid. It's for what the vet believes is a minor skin allergy in the summer. I guess it's helpful.

We've only used one type - I believe we're at our third box. It's by the company called VET Solutions - our vet gave it to us. Sammy's skin condition was that he would have bad itches on his front paws. You couldn't see anything red, but he would just bite at his hair repeadetly. We took him to the vet after he just kept throwing up all the hair over and over. I think it's improved it. It's not the summer which is when it's at its peak, but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. It seemed to ease the itching during the summer as well.

Hope that helps.

lBarny I used all www.springtimeinc.com fresh factors, joint health and Bug Off for fleas. My dogs have the nicest coats, shed little not clumping anymore, they shine, no dry skin, these are wonderful supplements, I use them so I recommend them and all my puppy customers also are onto to them as I give samples with each puppy. Check out the site and read about them, they are great and healthy, Ginos specialists likes them also.

A Pet Tab vitamin daily
A squirt of Essential Fatty Acids
And just Bogey gets a glucosamine and something that ends in condrin (can't remember right now) tabley for joints and bad knees.

I give vitamin E caplets. Also Dogzymes brand Ultimate formula and the digestive enzymes. have seen a nice coat growing on my English Setter, Paige, since we started on this. It's almost been 2 months.
