One Angel cares

I was reading in my paper the other day of a sad but happy ending story of one coragous pup.

There was a dog ( a shepard mix) who was tossed into a trash container, with one leg torn off, and duck tape over his faceand nose. A passerbye found this pup, and rushed him to the vet. Somehow this coragous dog had managed to get the duck tape off of his nose so he could breath, but his leg was horribly injured, and he was dying. The vet ssaid he has approx 4 hours to live in his state.

The pups story is somewhat like this.. his horrible excuse for a human, used him for bate for fighting pit bulls here in AL. Since the dog was of no use to him anymore, he inhumanly tossed him, allowing him to slowy die.

BUT, thanks to this passerbye, the dog was rescued!!!! His leg had to be amputated, but he is still happy go lucky. He wags his tail at everyone and is slowly but surley making a recovery.

The vet clinic that has him, has raised over 11,000 dollars for his " humans" capture. If the " human" is captured than that money is his/her reward.
The dog himself, is awaiting a new home, where thanks to people who care about animals are calling no stop to adopt him. But he will not to go just anyone i'm sure.

This story has a " happy" ending, but won't be truley happy unil the monster that did this is put behind bars, or serving his own ****, which God himself will see to it he gets.

I agree that poor pup has gone through he*ll. I hope that he gets the best and happiest life that is possible and I hope they catch the scum that did that to him.

apparently here in Al, dog fighting isn't as uncmmon as we all would hope. I once had to put down 15 pits ( puppies included) b/c of iresponsible slime ball owners, who thought fighting was " cool" Thanks to them all 15 dogs could not be rehabilitated and had to be euthanized.. that was one of the sadest days i can remember. I too hope that the scum who calls himself " a human being" gets his just deserts. If not in this life, than defiantly in the next.

thats horrible. I saw two pits at the shelter who had scars all over them! Sad thing to see.
I am just glad that whoever found Jack(my sister's pit) found him before someone bad did. I dont even want to think about him being used as a fighting pit, he is just too sweet.

Where I grew up the town next to us was known for having dog fights. At the time we had a HUGE german shepherd named Mickey. (yeah he was about as scary as his name But I use to get stopped all time while walking him and these people would always pull up in their trucks and ask how much I would want for him. Scary! I knew what they wanted him for. We got him so I would feel safe going for walks but it turned out he was the one needing all the protection.

My mom won't even THINK about owning a pit bull b/c of there reputation I and others have tried to tell her it's not the breed it's the owners, but my grandmother goes with my mom says that they can be the sweetest breed one minute and bite your hand the nexted.
Oh well I still want one though.
