Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Dog Foog

Does anyone have any thoughts on this dog food. I am aware of the hole Diamond scare but we have continued feeding Diamond Lamb and Rice since they were not included, but we have one that is spay incontinent and were thinking of switching to this. It comes from a completely different plant than the dog food that had the bacteria problem and has not been included on any recall list that I can find.

We were going to switch to Eagle Pack Hollistic, but cost is an issue and the Diamond is a little more affordable and the ingredients are almost the same, the only real difference I saw was the Chicken soup didn't have yogurt and also the Chicken soup had actual chicken and turkey where the Eagle seemed to only have chicken meal.

Just wanted some opinions.

Love Our Dobies!

Trust me, I have compared prices!!!
I feed the Eagle in the solid purple bag, its not too bad.

I like the Chicken soup, I sometimes buy their canned. Even better then that check out the Premium Edge made by diamond. Just like you said its not in the recall and comes from a different plant. I am pretty sure it was a bit less than the Eagle. Thats what Chopper is eating now.

Dobes, I feed my Chihuahua the Chicken Soup dog food and he loves it! I even gave him a little of the canned food the other day. The Chicken Soup dog food doesn't have corn in it, and that's what caused the recall of the Diamond dog food, so no worries there. It's a great dog food with pretty good ingredients. Tank even poops a little less than when he was on Flint River Ranch.

Yes, I buy Chicken Soup and it is a great food. It has super ingredients, in our little town we do not have access to great foods. I have ordered Flint River, did not see any difference in anything. Our feed store started to get Chicken Soup in and it is selling fast as he orders it. Less stools, healthy coats, etc.

I bought Chicken Soup for my puppy and he wouldn't eat it, but sometimes if he gets hungery enough he might eat it. It is all natural and I was a little scared because Diamond made it, but there is no corn in it. I now have to mix the Chicken Soup in with my puppies other food. I liked the contents of Chicken Soup, but my pup is very picky.

I feed it and my dogs are doing great on it. It doesn't have any corn so there is nothing in it that was recalled. It finally eliminated Bernice's gas problem! thank goodness!
