I feed Nutro. The dogs like the taste, it is reasonably priced.

The only down side is that my dogs are gassy

I have just started the Schnauzers on Nutro Natural Choice Chicken, Rice & Oatmeal since Penny has a sesitive stomach. It seems like a good food. They have only been on it for a week.

Nutro is a good food and I feel chicken n rice is easier on the stomach also. Wet it with warm water and stir ten seconds to help the dogs digestive system. It is better to wet with warm water stir than feed dry all the time now and then u can.
Do not give treats of human scrapes. Our food is bad for dogs and then they expect it and quit eating what is made for them. Chicken Soup dry kibble is a good food also. It is about the best I can find in our tiny town in Pa. I feed my dogs twice a day not all at one feeding. Plenty of fresh water also and a good supplement is necessary for good health.

Denali eats Nutro Natural Large Breed. She seems to like it ok (as long as I mix it with some wet food <nutro natural wet as well>) and then every other day she gets salmon oil on it as well. As for the stool question, Denali has never had the runs . If you're feeding something else, just make the change gradual and not all at once so it's not a big shock to the stomach.

Right now one of my pups is having a bad case of the squitters, but it's not because of the food. She is on a fasting diet. The other one has nice firm stool and no problems.

I like Nutro. I used to feed Cali Nutro Ultra. I switched to Innova because I read really good things about it, but I still think that Nutro was the best of the petSmart brands they carried.

Exactly said. Koni's gas can get out of hand sometimes.
