lol i got a lhasa under the impression that they dont shed but teddy sheds loads but i brush him evry day so u cant tell i keep him semi long

we say at work to bring a puppy in to be groomed any age after they have had there jabs. we tend to give any puppy a nice bath in a sensitive shampoo like "everning primrose" and then trim around there little feet and eyes and bum to keep them looking smart as they r just bundels of fluff untill they get there adult coat which takes from1 to 2 years, and it is hard work if u grow the pupppy coat but it dose look so smart rather than having it all shaved off but a little clipper off with a number 5 and face trimmed round dose look nice .but i enjoy comming home and spending 15 mins brushing and comming him out and give his teeth a brush and just wipe around hi eyes to keep him ooking nice i do bath him every 1 to 2 weeks as he is a dog and hasnt got a grate aim and he dose like his walks in the woods and beach lol hope that helped

get him used to the grooming asap - i got mine as a rescue and being groomed was not her strong point!!! i keep her in a shortish trim only because she suffers with hot spots and it helps keep the itching under control.
Brush him everyday for a few minutes - preferably up on a table (with a rubber mat to stop him slipping) reward him when he stands nicely and ignore unacceptable behaviour this will make it easier for him when he first visits a groomer.
And when brushing dont forget armpits and groin area - where ever there is hair brush it or he will get in a sorry state!!

All dogs shed

Take her to the groomer for her first visit ASAP, even if you let them know you just want her to have a bath and her nails trimmed, that way she will get used to it!
