Special extras w/ dog food...
Ok I know a lot of you put special stuff on your dogs food occasionally, like cottage cheese, eggs, etc. I want to put cottage cheese on Tank's dog food, but how much and what kind of cottage cheese? I saw low fat, regular, high curd (I think it was curd), low curd....I'm just confused lol. Can anyone help me? And what brands of yogurt do you use for your pups? I know the yogurt shouldn't have certain ingredients, anyone have a certain brand that's good? Lastly, how often can I give these special extras to Tank? Thank you!

I don't know much about cottage cheese, but plain, whole milk yogurt is the best kind to use. I like Nancy's and Mountain High, but I don't know if they sell those in your area.

wish i could help, but I can't. bernice and tank are allergic so no dairy for them. only cheap immitation! lol

they get plenty of non-dairy cheese.....their favorite! they would do anything in the world for cheese.

Tank's never had cheese, but seems to like carrots quite a bit lol.

On the odd occasion that we have plain yoghurt in our house, Bailey gets a tablespoon on her food, but only at one meal a day.

I would like to get some cottage cheese and just give Tank a teaspon every now and then (I don't see him every single day unfortunately cuz he usually stays at my boyfriends). I think I got all the info I need. Thanks!

Wow we dont seem to have that much choice here, I just look for a natural yog and cottage cheese, and boy do they love it
