I think I recognize the first one as Nutro... maybe Max adult? Or Natural Choice Chicken and Rice?

The second one, I am unsure of.

I wouldn't feed either. The first one has too many rice fragments, meat meals rather than fresh, and corn.
The second one has rice as the first ingredient and turkey meal rather than fresh turkey. Also has sugar beet pulp.

I was not thrilled with either also.
Beet plup might be something you feed horses, but not dogs.

Turkey Meal is good, as is Chicken Meal and Lamb Meal. "Meal" is the meat with the water taken out, while plain old turkey or lamb or whatever is the meat with the water still in it. Ingredients are listed the way they are BEFORE cooking, so after cooking the regular old turkey loses mass and drops further down the list. Turkey Meal doesn't have much mass to lose so it stays as #1. The problem I see is the fact that it's Turkey MEAT meal.

I too would feed neither.

I wouldn't feed either. Both have beet pulp, which I would never feed. Too much risk of bloat.
