Hi I'm new to chat but have seen alot of very useful info here. I have a question concerning dog body odor. I was wondering if anyone has any home type remedies ie something they at to dog food to help this. It seems long ago I read something regard a spice which was added to d food but I can't remember any suggestions appreciated

i agree feeding has a lot to do with it. Dogs fed on tinned food have a tendancy to really stink, dogs fed on dried food smell less (and dogs fed on "home diets" smell worst of all) also look at his teeth, again tinned food will make his teeth rotten and his breath smelly adding to the overall smell.

not sure how big your dog is - or what kind of money you want to spend on your critter. i hear the RAW diet helps with their "scent"

I've heard the same exact thing. We have a great dane & a lot of people feed the RAW diet to them. Though I'm not ready to switch from Chicken Soup Adult yet! Sounds messy....

also un-neutered males smell a lot worse than neutered males. The difference really is quite remarkable.
