Limping???

Hi all...been a while, but I have a question, and I'd appreciate your help. My nine month old pup Cleo JUST started limping and licking her left paw. The last time she did that she had a burr stuck in her paw pad and I pulled it out and she was fine. This time, though, I checked it repeatedly and there is nothing. I can't find a reason for it. She can apply pressure on that paw, she lands on it fine, but still picks it up and limps away. Also, I press on her whole left leg and she doesn't seem to be in pain, but the limping continues. Any ideas????

Thanks, Amy

I give limps 24 hours to make sure doggy's not drama queen.

If there is something still wrong in 24 hours then time to go to the vet.

Could be a soft tissue tear causing pain.

I forgot to say that she's been licking and biting her left paw, too, though. Does that make the situation any different?

When Clifford was a puppy he seemed to strain and pull muscles. I agree with the 24 hour rule.
Not sure why she is chewing at her paw, maybe she has a cut on her pad?
