Do you give vaccinations yourself

Do you give your pets their vaccinations? or do you let the vet take care of that?

I could do it and have done it in the past. I now prefer to take them to the vet for a quick checkup at the same time.

With my dogs and cats no, but with my horses I do. I should really learn how to give my dogs and cats shots as well.

No. I personally couldn't do it. I wouldn't want to give myself a shot so I would not want to do it for my animals either. Plus I like the vet to look over my dog and make sure there is not something I am missing that could pose a problem later on.

Well I do some shots myself but they also go for routine exams its much easier when I have a litter to it myself but they also get lots of exams from the vet.

AWAll is on a distinguished road
We tried giving vaccinations to our very first dog. I was about 5 and since FiFi was calmest around me, my dad had me hold her. Although he did it correctly, she whined. I couldn't stand it and neither could my dad. So now the dogs go to the vet.

I voted yes - becuase I used to do the dogs cats and horses when we were in CO - but now I take them to the vets becuase we have some funky laws here in CT to do with Rabies shots.
