raw privet parts

hi everyone cisco is having a problem.. his private part is sticking out he was fixed last friday and is recovering well..anyway it hanging out a little as if he is going to breed lol..i noticed it yesterday thought nothing of it and then i saw it today..i made a vet appointment but i would like to hear some of your point of views.. its getting dry and if it stays out its going to be raw soon..how can i atleast keep it moist..so it doesnt start to hurt him..or should i rush him in?

Do you mean " private " parts ?

If his penis is hanging out you will want to call your vet right away , he may have infection and that is why he is holding it out. I would not wait to call either.

I would think that it hanging out for any period of time after just being neutered would warrant a trip to the vet to make sure he isn't swelling too much.

don't laugh at me ok? fortunately i never had to deal with that "problem", but few years ago, It was on MTV's real world, someone had a dog and his thing was sticking out of his shaft, so one of the roommates called the vet and told the owner of that pup to put sugar on his "thing" to make it go back in. So they flipped this puppy over and sprinkled some sugar, maybe that'll work? might want to check with your vet first though Rofl....
