My dog throws up every now and then. Yellow is the stomach acids. For him, it's always the same couple causes. First, hunger/mild dehydration. Has she skipped a meal? Is it hot over there? Temperature changes, throw off my dog's eating habits, and when he skips a meal, he might throw up a few hours later from being hungry. Two, choking. Not serious choking, just having a hair or some sand, or a small toy stuck in his throat, gagging it back up again.

If she is throwing up food, shortly after she eats, you may have something to worry about.

If it looks like salvia only it could be a nervous stomach. Peptobismo tablets work wonders for calming the stomach. You can give 1/2 tablet as needed. HOWEVER, if vomiting lasts (more than 1 or 2 times) you should go to the vet. He will most likely say to give very bland diet (boiled rice & eggs) for a couple of days if a stomach bug.
