Yesterday when me and my friend were sitting on the couch catching up on old times my 3 month old male (siberian husky) just came up to my friend and started humping his leg I was shocked when this happend and i want to know if this was normal....

Normal behavior. If the dog has not been neutered, it might continue. The key is to correct with training. Take a spray bottle and spray at this paws or around his muzzle with a firm NO correction.

You can also push him off with a firm NO and put him on his back. Humping is not always sexual in nature. It is a dominance issue. You should not be embarassed about this behavior. It is perfectly normal for dogs both male and female.

Correct every single time, and you should be able to get it under control

Cali no longer humps us, but she still humps her toys (and she's a spayed female)!

Sasha used to hump in heat. Kiev's never humped, even in dominance and she is a dominant husky herself. Try getting him fixed, if he's not, or, like Dax said, correct with the firm training stated above.

I think at 3 months this is still mostly play behavior, but like Dax said it's an unwanted behavior. A Stern "NO" and pushing him off will be all that's nessasary at this young age, if he persits you may have to use the spray bottle techniques, as were mentioned above.

That's just what I think works. Good Luck.

It could be the dog is showing its dominance.
