Unhappy Please Help!

My Golden Retriever ate a big piece of chocolate candy left over from my son's Valentines candy... She ate box and all.. She is a little over a year old, and seems fine.. It happened early this morning.. I'm just really upset b/c I have heard chocolate is very bad for dogs... Is there anything I can do?
Will she be ok?

She will probably be ok, it is the Dark Chocolate, like bakers chocolate, that has the most toxins in it.

She may have the runs and not be feeling all that great but I am pretty sure she will be fine. Just keep chocolate away from her , she obviously likes it .

Thank you so much for answering me... It had been put up on the dresser... I do a thorough check before I go to bed each night to make sure Savanah or Maggie cant get to anything..lol It's just like having 2 year olds.. Apparantly my son had got some of it and forgot and left it on his night stand instead of putting it back up... It was milk chocolate.. Sorta like those solid chocolate bunnies you get at Easter. She seems fine.. But it scared me to death.
BTW.. your Dobies are gorgeous!! We had Dobermans at one time.. Wonderful dogs! And sooo smart.. thanks again.

Thanks for the compliment on my dogs They are awesome dogs to own, I really do not think I will ever own any other kind of dog without having at least one Doberman too.

My male has ate chocolate as well, he really likes , silly goof.

By the way, welcome to Pro Dog.
