Thumbs down F L E A H E L P

I hate F-L-E-A-S

We flea dipped both Cyrus and Buddy and bathed them real good, they just looked fantastic and not even a week had passed and we started spotting fleas on them again!

I just dont understand! We flea dipped them and bathed them, then we put Frontline on them. That is all suppose to protect up against a month and they are back in less then a week?

Before the Dogs can come to our New House they all must be clean and flea free.

What do you all do?

How long after the bath did you wait to put the frontline on?

After they were all dried.

But still even without the Frontline the Flea Dip should work longer + with the Shampoo.

Its just so confusing!

you have to wait 48 hours after a bath and give frontline no more than 48 hours after a bath. I have found that most flea shampoos/dips really don't work long term.

Also, make sure to wash their beds, blankets, toys, etc. Fleas could be living on them, reinfesting your dogs.

I would bomb the entire house! when I got Tank he was infested with parasites and they in turn decided to move into my pad. One little flea bomb, some frontline plus and I haven't had another problem with fleas.

wait why can't you give them frontline more than 48 hours after a bath? Frontline has always worked against fleas for us. We apply it at the beginning of each month and have never had a flea problem. I never did trust those flea shampoos. It just seems like anything that would kill fleas would be mostly washed off when the shampoo is.

It took Frontline 3 months to totally rid Kota of fleas. But after that I have not saw even one of them. It takes a while for it to break the cycle of the breeding flea's. Frontline does not actually kill them but it's like flea birth control. If they can't breed you brake the cycle and they have a short lifespan.
