Unhappy Paige in trouble, at vets now.

Paigey is at the vet right now. I am glad I took her in. I have so far spent $1,400 today on her. could be lots more if we need surgery but I told the vet to do it if it is needed. I can't imagine life without my dough head Paigey. I have been crying all day. that's what the plastic is for right?

It started last night when I walked in the room and thought Destiny had thrown up. well 4am Paige threw up all down the side of the bed. then it was every 2 hours or less she would throw up again. I usually don't worry too much about that. Then she wouldn't take a milk bone from me! that is totally not normal. she was really happy and pretty normal until that point. she slowed down a bit.

well the radiographs show an area that they think could be a blockage, so there goes the Barium into her so they can see if it goes all the way through. last I talked to the vet she said that it is coming though there but she is still really miserable. But she said Paige was wagging her tail when the took her to do more radiographs.

when I saw her before I left the office she was just laying there with the cathader and wouldn't even move her head to my hand when I reached through the bars to the kennel.

Do they have any idea what the blockage is? Poor girl, she is in my hopes and prayers that it's one of your socks just waiting to pass.

thanks for the support. don't know what it is. I just want my Paigey back! I miss that girl. it feels so empty without her. don't know anything else yet. I am going to go see her after a while I hope. The vet said to call back after 7pm our time. That is when the last radiograph should be done.

Jean, what vet is she at?
You know I'm here if you need anything.

You're being very strong, if I were in your place I'd be a worthless bundle of nerves. Thinking of and praying for you both.

I pray she will get better. She is in my thoughts. Poor girl, I hope she will feel better. Ohh, no. This is horrible news! But I do think she is a strong doggie.

Get better Paige! Hugs to Paige and her mommy.
