Where do you bathe her? How big is she? Does she bite alot, or just when bathing?

Different solutions for different answers... could use some more info here. There's always the treats distraction... for running away... small to medium dogs, bath in a kitchen or laundry room sink, If a large dog, bathe in the bath tub.

Ears, it's natural to shake them out... what kind of ear cleaner are you using? I use a natural apple cider/chamomile formula. It's a small bottle that you squeeze into their ears, let them shake it out, and then you can take a quick look with a cotton ball. Ear cleaning isn't a mandatory process either, unless she has overly waxy or smelly ears (Kirby has smelly ears from ear hair, dying and getting entangles in the wax).

Well you could put a muzzle on her but dont Use a wire one or leather. You can use nylon or somethin soft.

The reason for the biting is your dog is scared. Try placing a non slip mat for her to stand on. Try not to run the tap while she is in the bath, the sound sometimes scares them. I she acutally drawing blood or is it more like a frantic nibbling at you.

Place her in the water, but only fill the tub as high as her stomach, be firm, you can hold the two front paws together firmly down in the water, that way she will have to put her head under to bite your hands, keep your arms as well covered as possible. Be persistant, be the boss. Tell her firmly NO, when she plays up.

The ears....well, no dog really likes their ears cleaned, go get some ottoderm drops, put them in the ears, it will soften any dirt or wax and make cleaning a much more gentle procedure. Touch her ears often at other times than just cleaning, it will get her used to the fact that you are not going to hurt her.

I found that bath time is a whole lot easier using one fo those adjustable shower heads... you know, the kind with the long hose?? That way, I only have to fill the tub up a few inches, to get the paws clean, and it is easier to rinse.... it's a lot quicker, too!!

i have the same problem since I am now forced to give Koni a bathe out side, using the hose. We bought a thing that shoots out water just as it would from a shower head. But as long as the water is constantly running on him, then he wont move much.
