What do you use for shampoo?

A lady at a dog show recommended to me to use woolite sounds weird but that is what she uses on on all her show dogs(Boxers). I have to add that all were just awesome and such a soft shiny coat. So what do you think about that? and what do you use on your dogs?

I was feeling ignorant, and had to look it up. Woolite is a laundry detergent? ...Sometimes used to de-skunk dogs. I wouldn't use a laundry detergent on my dog...

That being said, some people would dismiss my opinion on the topic anyways, since I use baby shampoo on my dog. I use Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo... I like a lavendar & chamomile one. I find that most dog shampoos are too greasy, or don't rinse out well. And ALL dog shampoos that I've used have left Kirby shiny- which comes from grease and oils that a Coton de Tulear should not have. Cotons should be puffy. Besides, the shinier, the easier it is for dirt to stick in.

He does not have sensitive skin, and I think he looks great.

I forgot the name of it, but it is this orange shampoo with a Sheltie on the front that we use for Buck. The same brand has different kinds but we use the fresh and clean. And we still have puppy shampoo left over from when Rusty was a pup so we use that on him. It smells like baby powder

I use a tea tree oil and Mint shampoo on my sheltie. She never has mats and it rinses super clean.

I work for a pet products company. I use that. Laundry detergent is not good for your dog. Anything that is a soap/detergent will strip your dogs coat. Dogs do not have pours like us so their skin only renews their natural oils every 3 months. Therefore if your using a harsh soap/detergent and do not wait 3 months between bathings then the skin will become irritated and dry.

I use oatmeal vanilla doggie shampoo that I dilute so it's easier to rinse out.

I use Bio-Groom Bronze Lustre...I also have the Ultra Black. Then I also have a puppy shampoo that smells like baby powder. I also have used an oatmeal based shampoo so their skin does not dry out.
