Need Home for Maggie - Staten Island

Hi, I am moving into a rental home on Friday and have 2 dogs and 2 cats. All rescue animals. My new landlord doesn't know about the cats but said I can have my one large mush dog. Maggie is a pit/boxer medium female, I found her in brooklyn 6 months ago. My larger dog is stressed with her as she is the alpha and I have a 7 yr old daughter who is frightened of her as she growls and is very very territorial. I have trained her to have good manners and she has come a long way. She still will dominate my other dog when it comes to treats, toys etc. and is very bonded to me. Anyway, I have for a month aggressively called every rescue group in NY and a lot in NJ and no one seems to have room or help me. She is alos posted on many websites and nothing. I am about to take her Fri morning to the Animal care and control on Staten Island, NY but thought I'd give it another shot here. Please let me know if anyone in the NY or NJ area can suggest something else or help me with a foster home or rescue group that would be able to take her. CACC would put take her and put her up for adoption but I hate to see her in a shelter. Thanks for any input.
