Why is she eating rocks? Bored? Hungry? You can try spraying the rocks with bitters or cayanne pepper but I would make sure you have lots of toys, fresh water and even chew toys available.

Think it is something to do with the lime in the rock, the dogs like the taste.
You will need to stop her, can you prevent her having access to them? |

i cant really take away her access from the rocks, we live on a farm and our whole driveway is rocks. the only thing i could do is tie her up but i dont think thats fair to her. she has plenty of thing that she plays with and can chew on. my brother hits golf balls out in the feild, she will go get them and within 2 hours the hard shell that covers the inside will be gone. could she be teething? and hard stuff makes it feel better?

We had a dog who ate the oddest things just for fun. (eg the little plastic cover off the blinker lights on the side of the car, a little plastic bucket..im not kidding!). We tried pepper, chilli powder, clove oil...it never worked. It wasnt just teething - he did this forever inspite of having toys to amuse him. Although he died a few years ago ..I'd still love to know why on earth he did that. If it gives you the slightest peace of mind...nothing happened to ours by eating all these wierd things..though we were so worried alll the time. I'm curious -does she eat big rocks or the small ones?

I fully understand how you feel...but like I said - it never harmed him. Maybe you can pile up some similar shaped treats and see if she substitutes them for the rocks? Sorry I wasn't more helpful and all the best!
