Question when should you start brushing their teeth

When should you start brushing a dog's teeth. Dakota is only 3 months old and hasn't lost her puppy teeth yet.

I've also heard that the toothpaste isn't good for puppies. So just use water?

I would start right away that way when she's older she will enjoy getting it done. I'm not sure the toothpaste is good for puppies though so maybe just use water at first just to get her use to the idea.

Be careful with the greenies. Their known to chip off and cause problems.

yeah I've had Dogs around me my whole life. But none of them were raised the way I'm raising Dakota. My Mom didn't buy expensive food, or do the best treats, feeding, crating, and so on. Actually no one in my family has done it like this. But we have a 13 year old Black Lab and he has Arthritis in his rt. knee and I don't Dakota to get that so we're doing the best food for Large Labs and she gets vities and this and that. It's really hard to raise a puppy that way. I'm only 19
