Fireking update

Hi to all my pals from all over the world.
Fireking had the whoopee problem and i thought it was the end
I spoke to you guys and someone suggested that I was not taking him to the vet as I did not want to face the inevitable. No names mentioned.
Well the following day his stools were normal His appetite has come back and I did not take him to the vet.
I think we all know our own dogs and know when the time is.
I certainly appreciated the message from the lady who introduced me to the rainbow bridge site and I looked at that and it really helped.
So hopefully although Fireking has had some bad days he is now on some good days. So more time with him
AND NO he is not suffering. The vet assured me of that otherwise I would have done the decent thing.
He has now had two or three good days so optimistic again.
Just thought I would let you have an update.
Regards to all
Frankie and Fireking.

What a roller coaster ride you've been on. I hope things stay good and you can just enjoy spending time together.

Hi Frankie....glad you followed your heart, someone will always tell you you are not doing the right thing for your Fireking, but being the owner I think you know what is best for your best friend. All older dogs have real tough days, and real good days. Hang in there, you'll know when the time comes to do what you should. A real dog lover doesn't listen to other's weel meaning advice, go with your heart, you can never go wrong that way. Being in a wheelchair, I have some horrible days.....M.S. Glad no one suggests putting me away lol. The good days are worth the bad days.
