We have a beautiful chocolate Lab with really really bad body odor. We have tried everything we can think of to solve this problem. Does anyone have any ideas for us, other than bathing her or changing her diet. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

Where's the smell from? My old girl's teeth are dying and her mouth odor is enough to perm your hair. No amount of food, cleaning, etc lessens it. I am told once the teeth fall out that smell would go away. She also has bad body smells which is related to her age. Even right after bathing there is a strong dog smell. Baking soda rinses help but not entirely. I bath her bedding more often and add scents to it.
I've also seen doggy perfume & deordant which I was tempted to try. Have you tried these yet? Guess what we need is CHANNEL No. K9 |

Her breath doesn't smell, her teeth are fine. The smell seems to be coming from her entire body through her skin. She is eight years old so maybe that's contributing to the problem. Will try the baking soda. Thank you.

Lib are you sure that there isnt a medical problem? Ive always believed that a healthy dog on a good diet really wouldnt smell. Not trying to cause concern its just that you eliminate diet as a possibility/ if the dog is healthy and your certain of it.. i think diet would be the main culprit.
