Nature's Skin Soothers

If your dog is recoverying from surgery or has had in injury, vitamin E may help prevent scar tissue from forming. Squeeze the the capsule or apply some pure oil (d-alpha tocopherol is active ingredient.) onto the healing wound, burn, or abrasion. This not only helps heal the wound without stinging, but may also help relieve the pain.

If your dog has a recent miner skin burn or other injury, apply freash aloe vera. A natural antiseptic, aloe vera keeps the skin moist and pliable during healing. It also relieves the pain. Keep a plant growing in your kitchen window so u will always have it on hand. For any deep or extensive wounds, of course see your vet!!!

I read this article in Dog Fancy an thought it was worth shareing!!! Kimberly
