Exclamation Little black thing?

Ok My pit bull (spot) has these little black things right on his back where his neck starts. They are only in one place and wont come out very easily. Has anyone any idea what this could be? I have never seen it before.*-Erin-*

Pull one out gently without crushing it too much & look at it with a microscope. Could be eggs, ticks, other insects also could be a burr like seed from a plant.
