Both my pups have been scratching alot on their faces, under their necks, under their forearms and on their paws. A friend of mine said they might be allergic to their food, given that both have chicken on them. Would you think this was the case? Would anyone know any treatment/shampoo i can use to help relieve them of the itch, i just dont enjoy seeing them suffer that way. They just got a spray of frontline the other week and I doubt if its fleas coz I live in a condo unit and theyre not out much so cant possibly think of where they might've gotten them fleas.

There are lots of things your dog could be allergic to. When testing-a specialist usually tests for food first because that is the cheapest way for you and easiest to take care of the problem. However, your dog could be allergic to grass, trees, bushes, dust, dustmites, pollen, etc. Usually, a vet will tell you that it is a flea allergy but there are lots of other things also.
If your dog is scratching alot,I would take it to the vet and get an injection or pills to get rid of the itch. Next, I would bring it home and make homemade food for it. If you don't know what to give it, I'll be glad to help you. The last dog I had, had to see a specialist so I have been there-done that!

It sounds like allergic hypersensitivity, due to some reaction to the environment. Fabrics, detergents, mold, and fungi can be factors. Scratching has to be taken care of to prevent irritation and open woumds, which will lead to infection. Use an anti-bacterial shampoo and see if that helps. Also be sure to brush regularly to evenly disperse natural oils.
