if u mean a bow i usally make it with ribbon
i make a knot in it like u do for ur shoe laces, (so that when u pull it it will stay there) then get the amount of hair u want then put hair tru the hole and pull it tight at each end carefully, then make a little bow at the front mine stay in for about 2 -3 days but u can losssen them and make them neat and make them tight again. if doing on a dog like a lhasa i was shown to pull the hair from each outer corner of the eyes to get the right amount of hair but evry one dose it difrently sorry if that is confuzzing or not what u ment
