Is this common

Ive got a new pup I moved from my mothers house but anyway my pup will go to a corner sniff and then scratch is this something wrong or am i just over reacting.

It could be something as simple as a mouse or that someone dropped something there. Just tell the puppy NO, and then give them a toy to play with. When they start playing with the toy - tell them good dog like they just won the Nobel prize.

It also sounds like she is trying to nest.

Ollie quite often scratches my rugs, couch, bed, and acts as if he digging to China.. then shortly after will lie down. Or sometimes it continues to another spot and another..
