Talking Furminator... I LOVE YOU!!!

Well, I called the groomer to see how much it would cost if I brought Faith in. I want to get her done really well before we leave. Even if I brought all 3 dogs and got the multi dog discount, it still is $60. There's no way. It used to cost $50 if we brought two dogs in and $40 if we brought three. Groomer upped her prices quite a bit and I just didn't want to pay. So, I did it!!! I figured, rather than spend all that money on a one time deal, why not buy a tool that will allow me to do the same thing. I already groom my dog well, I just wanted that extra undercoat out that I can't usually get at.

I love it! I spent under $50 for a tool that will make grooming 100% easier. I only did half of Faith because I had gotten so much hair out of her that I ended up taking forever to get through each layer. So, I had to give her a breather. Tomorow, if I have time, I will finish. Depends on if I finish loading the car or not. Rain... grrr!

I did Bailey, too. It was amazing. But, there is still SO much hair on that girl. Who knows if I will really get her good before I leave. Again, depends on how much I get done loading the car tomorow. If I get the bulk of that done, then Friday will be mostly dog grooming day. All three need to be bathed and brushed. Oy.

It's sort of like a brush. It's better if you bathe them first, but since I always do a full brushing the day or two before I bathe them, I can do it this way, too.

You just brush through the coat, basically. All the dead undercoat comes right out. No problem. And WOW! It really gets it out. I love it.

Guess I'm going to have to get one of these.....I was always afraid it would strip and dull the coat.

It looks a lot like a strpping knife. Hey can I take a look at that when you get down here. I am curious.

It is very similar to a stripping knife, but it's shaped different. Because of the shape, it's a million times easier to use. Plus, it's more effective. Yep, lol. I will bring it to the dog park, but we have to be careful not to lose it. It's way to expensive!
