My girl Destiny had a slight infection as a young pup at least 4 months. Now she has one again currently and getting antibiotics for it. wow this is annoying! does it ever end?

If they're the founders, I'm Her Royal Highness!! Several years ago, Bogey and Miko were constantly getting uti's. They would go back and forth between struvite crystals and calcium oxcilate. It was costing me a fortune in catherization (I could never catch the urine), urine tests, antibiotics and Nature's Miracle.

Then the vet put them on Waltham S/O prescription food (which I know Moo hates). And she put Miko on a med that has to be compounded in beef flavor (Methiothione sp?). I give it to him in an oral syringe every night. It has to be refrigerated.

Neither of them has had an uti since. I don't really like the food ingredients, but it does work.

One of my cats is prone to UTIs. She's doing really well on CA Natural food now, though... I think I'm going to talk to my vet about switching her to raw.
