another pup with diarrhea

unfortunately, Faith's been under the weather this week.

she woke us up Tues night at 3:30 am whining and crying, which is completely unlike her. she also was panting horribly. i took her outside and she had some violent diarrhea and then puked twice. i stayed outside for a while with her, let her walk around, and she had diarrhea several more times.

poor thing. we came in the house and she was lethargic the rest of the morning. it was really hard when it came to me leaving for work. but, she was holding water down, had eaten a 1/3 cup of food and kept it down.

well, i find out on our walk this morning - LOTS of dogs in the complex have had bouts of diarrhea and gotten sick. we know of at least 5 to 8 dogs that had the same sort of thing over the last few days.

any ideas on what might cause this? the dogs are varied in ages from puppies to seniors, and none of us owners can think of anything that the dogs ate or got into. they haven't sprayed pesticide in a while because it's been pouring rain for like 2 weeks.

There must be something going around, Clifford and Meka both just had it, I think they are ok now. I was up with them 3 times the other night.

I hope Faith feels better soon!

thanks for the good wishes. this morning she was back to herself energy-wise, although she still has some loose poops. but, they are at least semi solid, nothing like it's been.
