This isn't a food supplement but Human bath oil like Kerri as a final rinse does a nice job on Dax.

Thanks Dax but I have never herd of it lol, Pearls coat is shiny but she has a lot of dandruff, she has always had a little but nothing like it is now, could be due to the kennels maybe they didn't groom her enough

I can't remember, sorry. Is Pearl your Boxer??
My Boxer had horribly dry flakey skin for awhile that was quite easily corrected with added Omega 3-6-9- to her meals. Also she'd eat a capsule as a treat. I think the Flax and Fish oils in the omega capsules help.

Yep, my vet recommends 500mg daily of the human stuff for dogs of Poppy/Pearl's sort of size. She doesn't believe in paying for the "special" doggy ones unless it's to get a major problem under control and even then once it's under control she says to get the regular human ones.

It will take at least 6 weeks until you start to see the difference.

i try not to over bathe as it ruins the dogs natural skin oils and conditioning, I also feed vitamin e, and omega 3 I also use a very very mild shampoo when bathing and feed olive oil
