Talking Trimming the "hoo hoo"

I was wondering if I could trim off the hairs that are on the end of Wyatt's "manliness". They get yucky with pee and all that. Is it ok for me to do that?

I trimmed Luca's. Basically because his were long and when he would pee it would go straigth onto his front legs. Once it was trimmed his aim got better and no more soaking stinky legs. lol I did it at the same time I was trimming hte hair on teh bottom of his pads. So he was already relaxed. Don't want an excited bouncy dog while you do it.

I've trimmed all my male dogs. I trim around Cali's private area, too or she would have yellow, stinky pee on her beautiful, white coat.

We trim the "sanitary area" of every dog (well, except for short coats like Labs, etc.) that comes in to our groom shop. Helps out a lot for keeping them clean.

hoohoodillies... (Courtesy of Mrs. Cartman) LOL!

Anyways it's a good idea, because it Wyatt gets...umm.... overstimulated... and his... Hoohoo... pops out you don't want him to drag bacteria back in that could collect on those hairs
