Adoption pending for Sandy

We have had an inquiry about our Sandy. The couple are retired and have lost their blue merle boy this spring. They have filled out the application and are waiting for a date to meet Sandy and see if he fits in with them. It will probably be after June 11 that we hook up because the gal has been in a serious car accident and cannot comfortably do a 4 hour car ride to come see him sooner. That's ok with us, just as long as they keep their enthusiasm for Sandy. She has called me three times now asking questions and getting to know Sandy through me. It's so exciting to see him go to a loving family, he deserves the best home available.

Will keep my fingers crossed that it happens. Great feeling to know someone will give it a good home.

Way to go!!
Since its a few weeks off, just give them a call a few times, that will keep their intrest.(also a good way for you to get to know them) Sounds like they are very interested already!

Of course I'll miss Sandy but there is another one waiting for a foster home so I won't be without another dog for Magic for long.

Hope all goes well. Sandy seems so sweet, and a gentle older couple sounds perfect! Best wishes.
