SALE LOCATION: GENTRY, ARKANSAS

STARTING TIME: 10:00 am

Rain or Shine!! Sale Under Tent!! Concessions Available!!

SELLER’S STATEMENT: My wife & I with much thought & consideration have decided to sell the kennel business. We have come to a point in our lives where we would like to slow down, enjoy our grandchildren and each other. We will miss our dogs tremendously as we have raised most of them here and they are all so well socialized. Our dogs have made it so that we can retire as they have been a great source of income. If you will be good to them they will be very good to you. We will miss them a lot and we hope you can attend our sale. Sincerely, Don Mayberry

AUCTIONEER’S STATEMENT: I have known the Mayberry’s for many years. They have always been excellent breeders and maintained a top kennel. I have personally purchased dogs from them in the past and recommended them for quality dogs to other breeders. Their dogs will be worth the trip to the auction. The dogs consigned to this auction are from select kennel closeouts and will be young and of excellent quality as well. Chadd & I will be looking forward to seeing you there. Thanks, Bob

VETERINARIAN STATEMENT: I have been the Mayberry’s Vet for approx. 12 yrs. I have been to their kennel many times. The dogs and kennel have been kept in the best of conditions. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good dog. Desire Self DVM

sadly there are kennels like that all over america that is why we get so upset, perhaps those in other countries now understand we have to face thousands of kennels like that one on a daily basis. Thank god that one is going out of business but the sad part is most of the poeple going to the auction will be other puppy millers who will buy them and do the same unless some major league rescues can get the resources and get in there and buy them out. The new laws coming in effect in some areas will drive the others out that dont want to relocate this state is a source of hundreds of puppy mills alone. there are many in pa florida many midwestern states and texas just to name several hot spots. If they can pass anti web site selling pups and pet stores not carrying pups it would greatly reduce these mills. did they show pictures? if so can i ask her to pm me the link without that being wrong?

There are alot of elderly using dog breeding for income!! they even show each other how to get into it. they are unable and unwilling to take proper care of the animals at their age or do the nessecery steps but they do it anyway. I used to read mother earth news regualrly until i was digusting by multiple articles telling people and especially elderly how to set them selves up in dog breeding for income and not once did the articles mention health responsibilities or proper care instead it told everyone how to save money doing it to maximise the profits!! truly disgusting and disheartening

That is just sickening. I could never imagine having that many dogs. to have all those cages and amting the dogs time and agian. I could not imagine it. My dogs will always be in my home and with me. I am also on the fence. I am glad they are stopping but I hate the fact they are going to make more money off of these dogs.
