"Free to a Good Home Pets"
I came across this site on another forum. No idea if it has been posted here. There is some great information. Just to warn you alot of it is quite heartbreaking about pet abuse and adoption. Please take the time to check it out. It has great info if you are ever thinking of giving a dog away for free. Very scary that there are people out there looking for free pets to do horrible things to.

i look in our tradershelper alot, it will say for ex. this is in there now:
female shepherd mix, black with white markings, 6 yrs old, good with children, will not give to anyone who has not the time for her, only ppl with children who can play with her and keep her company. free to good approved home, with fence or inside use of dog, ONLY!
