Fireking has made the better days again

Hi to all my pals across the world.
I did not want to count my chickens before they hatched by posting a positive report too soon, but Fireking has now had 3 very good days and is now on his 4th. so odds are still in his favour.
It was such a drastic change for him to have so many bad days on the trot that I wrongly assumed the end was near.
Thank God I have the forum for advice and a lot of members told me to hang on in there.
I did not want to take him to the vets as you know, and hoped he would rally round and he has.
He has been doing all his favourite things and eating well and has lots more energy again. In fact it is me who is drained playing tennis balls with him all the time.
I shall not be quite so worried next time he has a bad phase.
So long as he is not in pain then I shall just sail through the bad days, the vet assures me is will not suffer when the end occurs so I would far rather him be at home with either David or myself, in his home rather than at the clinical vets but let us hope and pray that this is a long time off yet.
He was originally diagnosed 3 months ago now and the vet had said that he does not know when it will happen. So each day is a bonus.

I'm so glad to hear Fireking is feeling well again. You will know when the time comes that he will not be able to rally back. I'm just so happy that he's better!!
