Awww, poor Tonka. Hugs to your Aunt, it's never easy making the decision even if it's the right one.

So sorry, cancer is a horrible thing. But rest assured that the dog is now in peace and no more suffering. Your aunt made the right decision. Proves she really loved her dog.

Awww, hugs to you all. I've been through the cancer thing with Sassy more than once - thankfully, surgery has always been able to remove it. I'm sure Tonka thanks your aunt for her unselfishness in letting her be pain free again.

Sorry to hear the sad news about Tonka and my commiserations to your aunt and the rest of the family.
Cancer is an awful thing for both dogs and humans and for some treatment works and others no go.
Your aunt kept Tonka as comfortable as she could in the last remaining days and she did the right thing by him. She should not feel any guilt but brave as it is an awful decision to have to make but in my opinion she did the right thing. Your aunt must remind herself that Tonka is no longer suffering and that is the important thing.
Love and best wishes to you all.
