refusing to eat
My friend's dog Mikey, a 14-year old Yorkshire Terrier, hasn't been eating the past few months, since about November. They've had to force-feed him. They've been feeding him people food like cheese, beef, and chicken (he REFUSES to eat dog food) and they've managed to get him to eat a little, but not enough. He's really skinny and is so weak he can hardly walk. Her mom is planning on taking him to the vet this afternoon toi get him put to sleep, and I was just wondering if there's anything else we can try first to get him to eat so maybe that won't have to happen.

14 is older for a Yorkie. If this is for real then my deepest condolences to you and your friend. Very sad. |
