Worms

When we got baby girl about 3 weeks ago she had worms, so we called the guy we bought her from and he gave us some wormer, it's one of those that you are only supposed to give every 30 days, but she still has worms. We looked at the bottle a few days after giving it to her and it has no expiration date on it. Should I give it to again, wait 30 days and give it to her, or get a different kind? I just want to get rid of the worms, I'm sick of seeing them fall out of her butt when she is laying on the couch!!! What do yall think???

you need to bring the dog to the vet to get checked out - the wormer he gave you may do nothing for the types of worms the dog has and/or it has expired and isn't working.

Please take advice from other members of the forum and seek advice from the vet. the necessary tablets are not expensive and will clear the issue up very quickly

VET! My dogs get dewormer pills from the vet, they aren't expensive and work really well. I wouldn't trust this guys wormer, obviously it isn't working.

Well I will join the chorus... take your dog tot he vet. If the worms are so bad they are falling out of the dogs butt then you have a serious helath probelm that needs to be addressed immediately.

Go to the vet. My new puppy also had worms even though she had been given the medicine once at the shelter. The vet says it sometimes takes two or three wormings to get rid of them for good. It's inexpensive and works well. Good luck! Kathy, Sam (on the rainbow bridge) and Maia
