going to a holistic vet

i have set up an appointment july 12th for my dog to see a holistic vet. I can't wait i am very curious to see what she says. Reagan has some issues that i believe are all in her head. if only she could talk i would take her to a shrink. she is almost 4 years old. Reagan does not like to eat! i have been feeding holistically for almost 10 yrs now. The dog refuses to eat it i have resorted to mixing Pedigree YUCK!!!!!#@%*! with VERUS. She had some sort of trauma in her life before us. The part we know about is that she was thrown out of a moving truck and was being starved to death. She growls at people not just strangers but people she knows EVEN ME! when she is outside once she realizes who it is she is fine and she is wonderful with kids i have worked with a behaviorist done blood work and even xrays everything comes back normal i was really hoping her thyroid was out of wack b/c then at least it would explain behavioral i am hoping that this doctor will be able to help my girl she is such a sweet girl. i don't know what to do for her anymore she worries me but i am keeping my fingers crossed b.c she has been holding steady at 40 ibs for 3 weeks the dog has earned the nick name anarexic girl

Poor dog, she's really had some bad stuff in her life. I can't even imagine what's going on in her head. Let us know how the visit goes!
