What could it have been?

Kota got sick yesterday with diarrhea. She met a puppy 2 days ago that had diarrhea too. It went away quickly for the pup and now Kota seems to be fine too. Could she have caught a 12hr bug from this pup? It's young hasn't been vaccinated but Kota has been.

We had also thought maybe her new treats upset her tummy. It's not good quality. I bought them cuz she loves em. She's ate the brand but not the flavor before with no problems.

And 3 days ago I made the mistake of allowing her to have a meatball. It had cheese on it. She has ate meat and cheese by themselves without a problem. But the meatball was pretty big. But it would seem that would have been out of her system by the time she got sick.

I'm thinking a 12hr bug is the likely culprit.. Opinions?

I'd say a bug from the other puppy - they get things and pass them on just like us humans! Glad to hear she's alright now.

Sorry not experienced enough to know but could and hope just a bug from the other puppy.
Us humans pass things on also.
So at least she is fine now.
Take care

Could be just about anything. My guys throw up when they eat grass, or horse hoove trimming or just about anything that they can't digest. But they usually do not get the runny monster.

Could be a virus too.

Did the meatball have onion in it ?
