Grasshoppers

I have a question for everyone. My mother has an infestation of Grasshoppers. However with having dogs and cats, we need to use something that wont hurt them. do you guys know of anything non- toxic that we can use to get rid of them?

Sorry... that's for the poke.

Traps. Insect traps are baited with non toxic tasteys and the insect flys or crawls in and can't get out. Added bonus if you have a trout pond you can empty the dead bugs into the pond for the trout.
