She wont last long! She is being turned into rescue by her breeder. Her and 2 other females are being "retired". Great way to treat your dogs of five years.

She is really gorgeous. I wonder if she had gotten her Championship early and was used for breeding stock. Usually they retire them early and look for homes for them.

At least she is being turned over to rescue. I have heard of some that just have them put to sleep.

If I was looking for another dog, she would be MINE!

I have always wanted a red female. Clifford was supposed to be a girl!

I want her, but my house is too small and I like my head where it is. Besides, I think deep down I want another kitten

She is beautiful! I hope she gets a great home!
I really hate breeders who get rid of their dogs like that!

What a gorgeous dog, if I was closer it would live with us. This is the absolute first time I hear someone retiring their dog in rescue. That is sooo cruel, that poor dog has given love and loyalty to them to be thrown in a junkyard, so sickening. Dobermom, I can see the wheels tuning in your head---like where could I fit her in? lol.

Actually its not that uncommon for breeders/showers to put there dogs up for rescue once they are retired. I find it wierd but its not a one time thing, it happens all the time. I have seen and heard of alot of breeders relocating, finding new homes or putting in a breed specific resuce once they no longer have any use for the dog. It is actually a good thing, they have so many dogs that they can not possibly give each individual the time it needs, this way the dog can go to a "home"
